Eymoutiers is a small town with about 2.000 inhabitants. There is a cinema, several restaurants and a large weekly market. In the neighbourhood are several lakes. In the summer there is a steam train in the area. The city is the gateway to the Millevache nature reserve. There are numerous hiking trails to be discovered in the area.
