The natural slate roof, damaged by hail, has been repaired. Part of the roof of the house is made of asbestos-coated fibre cement.

The house has no outbuildings. An old ruined barn adjoining the house can still be seen.

The garden
The grounds of more than one hectare adjoin the house and comprise lawn in the immediate vicinity of the buildings, followed by a wooded area with a fishery fed by the spring on the property. To the south of the property, over 6,000 m² of meadow is maintained free of charge (i.e. without a lease) by a neighbouring farmer.

Amenities
The house is part of a hamlet of 4 houses in the centre of which runs a road with very little traffic. The nearby village of Chamberet has all amenities. Tulle, Brive-la-Gaillarde and Limoges are an hour's drive away.
