The main house used to be a semi-detached house and three families lived on this ensemble. The house has been merged into one house, the small house has been converted into storage, but there are still two bread ovens, four barns and a hangar.

The ensemble is situated in a beautiful, peaceful location in the Limousin countryside. From the house, the garden and the barns, you can enjoy the view and experience the tranquillity of the natural landscape around you. This consists of meadows and copses and is bordered on one side by a small river. The land surrounding the buildings covers approximately 26 acres. About 10 acres of forest are located further away.

The house
Upon entering, the old wooden pillars immediately catch the eye. These add atmosphere to the typical French layout. The kitchen, with its fireplace containing a wood-burner, is connected to the dining room at the rear. From the dining room, there is access to the terrace and courtyard. On the other side of the hallway is the living room with a fireplace with built-in stove, wooden beams and veranda. This veranda is a lovely place to sit, even outside the summer season, and provides access to the courtyard. There is also a utility room with washing machine connection and a toilet on the ground floor and a neat cellar accessible from the hallway.

Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. The front bedrooms offer stunning views of the countryside. There is a fixed staircase to the attic. This has insulation on the floor, which means it is not (yet) functional.

Courtyard
The courtyard is formed by the house, a natural stone wall with a spring that flows all year round, the large barn consisting of two parts and a bread oven building. From the barn, you can access another barn where the animals used to be kept and a barn where the tractor is now stored.

Opposite the house is another bread oven building, a wooden hangar and a small old house that is now used for storage.

Ideal for plans
If you want to keep animals, this ensemble is ideal. The barns are located in the middle of more than 25 acres of pasture with trees and water. But the buildings also lend themselves to other functions. So if you have plans for tourism, you can indulge yourself in this beautiful place!
