Small but light
The former farmhouse has a kitchen with a simple sink and a large fireplace. People live on the old concrete floor. In addition, a small bedroom with beautiful floor and cupboard with panel doors. To reach the living room you have to go through the bathroom with separate toilet located between the kitchen and the living room. The living room with fireplace is light and has doors to the garden.
Upstairs, accessible from the bathroom, a cheerfully papered bedroom with skylight and on the other side of the landing an attic that can be converted info an extra bedroom.
Modernization of the kitchen and bathroom will be desirable. It’s possible to change the layout of the house.
Noted that, following a recent climatic event, part of the roof has been renewed.
Outbuildings
Attached to the house is a shed of approximately 50 m². The shed can be (partly) used to increase the living space. The well has been beautifully renovated and completes the description of the farm.
At the edge of the garden is another bread oven house.
The garden
The garden covers 5,200 m² and is south-facing. It is quite right in front of the house, but sloping up to the northern part (backyard) of the house. With a magnificent view over the beautiful Limousine landscape! There are various fruit trees (apple tree & walnut) and larger trees in the garden. The garden is completely fenced.
Access and amenities
The house is located in a small and quiet street, without any view and within walking or cycling distance of the village and has all the basic amenities: corner supermarket, bars with restaurant, café with associations, bookstore, chemist’s, garage, primary and infant schools (via a merger with a neighbouring village’s school). There is a fishing pond with a mini nature campsite. You are in the middle of the hilly countryside (between 1300ft and 2300ft above sea level), but only 15 minutes by car from the train station, the motorway, 35 minutes from the Limoges city centre and 45mn from its international airport.
