Lower floor
From the entrance there is another staircase leading down. This is currently the owners' room. It can be closed off completely and could be used as an appartment. There is a living room and a en-suite bedroom. There is also space for storage or hobby. The large kitchen has recently been renewed and many old elements have been preserved. In the kitchen there is a door that leads to the garden.

Garden
From the terrace there is a beautiful view on the wooded surroundings. The terrace runs slowly down to a shed and spacious lawn. A large decking terrace has been created. The feeling of peace and nature, a glass of wine in the sun is very enticing

Surroundings
At 3 minutes drive (or 10 minutes walk) there is Lac de Vassivière. This is a very large (dam) lake with an island. In the summer season there are lots of activities here. Kayaking, sailing or sailing with a boat, it is all possible. There are also several retaurants around the lake. In the summer, there is a large flea market. For shopping, Eymoutiers is about 10 kilometres away. This town is the gateway to the Parc Naturel Regional de Millevache and Limousin. There are bakeries, restaurants, a cinema, a hardware store and there is a weekly market for local fresh products.
