If you are looking for a fully renovated property with stunning views and the ability to receive guests, then this might be your house in the Limousin! This property with two self-contained studios for guest is located in the quiet rural hills of the Limousin, set amidst green meadows and forests. It was turned from the original farmhouse into a modern residence a few years ago. Everything was redone, so you can move in straight away.
Special lay-out
The house and the studios have been smartly laid out, both have separate entrances, but are still connected. For instance, the kitchen and dining room are located on the first floor of the house and have direct access to a large south-facing terrace with breathtaking views over the surrounding countryside. The guests have an exterior entrance to the diningroom via the beautiful sun terrace!
On the first floor, there's also a bathroom and two bedrooms. The ground floor consists of a spacious hall, a 3rd bedroom and the living room with its wood-burner. The central heating in the house works on both oil and wood. The house's hot water is generated via solar panels.
Two studios
The two studios are approximately 35 m2 (ca. 380 sqft) each and feature a kitchen and a small bathroom. That way, your guests can be fully independent as each accommodation has its own entrance and facilities. You can therefore use them for various purposes, such as a bed and breakfast, holiday rentals or you can entertain your personal guests.
Land and barn
There are approximately 2 hectares (ca. 5 acres) of grassland and garden around the house. A little further, there are roughly another 2 hectares of woodland belonging to the property. Next to the house, there is a swimming pond fed by a natural spring, ideal for cooling off in the summer or for sitting around and reading a book or drinking a glass of wine.
The large barn, which is part of the property, still offers plenty of opportunities to expand or store. The bottom floor is divided into storage areas. The top floor, which used to be the hay barn, is a large open space. The top floor of the smaller second barn has been turned into a chill-out room for the children, with a ping-pong table and a couch, ideal if you have older children or guests.
