Attractive house in Dordogne, which is located in a hamlet not far from the A89 motorway. It’s been renovated in 1990. Originally, the house was built in the 1930s and this charm is still visible.
One-floor-living?
Upon entering, you immediately step into the spacious living room (about 35 m²) with its tiled floor and wood-burning stove. Next to the living room is a lounge (about 16 m²) which could also be used as a bedroom if you prefer to live on one level. On the other side of the living room is the kitchen with plenty of worktop and views of the garden. From the kitchen you enter the bathroom with its bathtub, sink and toilet.
The stairs in the living room lead to the landing on the first floor, which is set up as an office. The continuous façade on both sides makes this an attractive and spacious room. On both sides of this is a bedroom with electric radiators and a skylight. Adjacent to one of the bedrooms is a 2nd bathroom fitted with a bath, toilet and washbasin.
Under the entire house is a basement/cellar with outside access. Here is also the washing machine and ample storage space.
Garden
The house is surrounded by a landscaped garden with beautiful trees that give the garden a lot of privacy. Terraces have been created on both sides to fully enjoy the sun or shade.
