Small farmhouse

A small house with an attached barn, situated in a quiet hamlet in the village of Bujaleuf.

The house
You enter immediately into the living room with fireplace. Then there is a bedroom (14 m²). From the living room there is a door to the adjacent barn. Here is the kitchen area with doors to the front garden. The ace connections are there, the choice of the new kitchen is up to the new resident! To the rear is a second bedroom (10 m²). In the central area there is a single bathroom (6 m²) with separate toilet. There is an attic which can be accessed through a hatch at the front. The attic is only suitable for storage. At the back of the house there is a room where the central heating system (2010), the oil tank and the water heater are located. Under the 2nd bedroom there is also a cellar accessible from the outside.

All the rooms need to be touched up: walls and ceilings need tidying up, a new kitchen is to be installed, the bathroom needs refreshing and a new septic tank is to be installed.

Adjacent barn
In the adjoining barn (90 m²), the living space can still be extended. There is still plenty of space left in the barn!

On the left side of the house, there is a completely ruined bread oven. Diagonally in front of the house, there is a huge and high (tin) shed. But this place would also be very suitable for a nice terrace or swimming pool!

Garden facing south-east
The total area of the land is 963 m². The tarmac area in front of the barn and the house belongs to the ensemble. On the south-east side there are a number of trees and (flowering) shrubs so you won't see the neighbours.

Bujaleuf
The village of Bujaleuf is only a few minutes away and provides all the necessities: there is a good bakery, a shop, a bar-tabac and several restaurants for a "menu du jour". The lake of Helene with its beach is a tourist attraction. But the inhabitants also like to take a dip or look for a picnic spot at the edge of the trees! In addition, the village is known for its big 'feu d'artifice (fireworks)' on 13 July.

Several large supermarkets and other services (banks, bar-tabac, shops) can be found in the nearby medieval town of Saint Léonard de Noblat (15 minutes away) or in the slightly more remote villages of Châteauneuf la Fôret and Eymoutiers.
